Black Ops Market Events: Drug Checks, Bans, a 2025 Wave
The documented event record around the black ops market is short but dense: a harm-reduction program unprecedented among cryptomarkets, a stated fentanyl prohibition, and an ecosystem turnover wave that this market was structurally built to catch.
The three event files
Why "events" gets its own section
News about a darknet market splits into two kinds, and conflating them is how portal content farms manufacture authority. The first kind is events: things that happened at a datable moment to identifiable actors — an announcement on a named forum, a seizure by a named agency, a scrape by a named research programme. The second kind is weather: the undated operational churn — ticket queues, deposit delays, discount etiquette — that portals publish as "news" because it can be generated without access to anything. This section holds events only. Every entry answers three questions: what happened, when, and who says so. If an item cannot answer all three, it goes to the claims database as a claim instead.
